The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme

The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme provides assistance to help reduce emissions from public sector properties. By 2037, a goal of minimising emissions by 75% has been arranged as compared to the benchmark established in 2017. This was set out during the 2021 Net Zero and Heat and Buildings approaches. This scheme can contain various applications like enhanced insulation, Solar and Commercial High Temperature Heat Pumps.

Both the Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund and the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme are offered to public sector organisations in England and parts of reserved public services all through the UK.

The Pure High Temperature Heat Pump ranges are the next generation of Heat Pumps, delivering nearly 120C flow temperatures, they are perfect for both retrofit and new build applications. High Temperatures reduce limits on applications and widen the scope to provide carbon and energy financial savings as outlined in The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.

The advice notes, application form and application portal are available within the Salix Finance website. Phase 3b will provide nearly £635 million of funding around the financial years 2023 to 2025.
